About

The Great Pen Pal Society is a monthly letter subscription that invites children to become pen pals with famous historical figures – imagined as their younger selves. From artists and inventors to explorers and rebels, each character writes from their childhood, sharing stories, drawings, and dreams that feel surprisingly close to our own.

✉️ How It Works

Each month, kids receive a beautifully illustrated envelope in the mail. Inside, they’ll find a handwritten-style letter from a new historical figure, a collectible portrait card, and sometimes a few extra surprises. No screens, no passwords — just the thrill of a real letter, waiting to be opened.

🎓 Why It’s More Than Just Mail

Every letter is crafted to nurture imagination, empathy, and curiosity. It sparks an interest in history by making it personal — not dates and facts, but friendships and feelings. Kids discover resilience with Helen Keller, creative rebellion with Frida Kahlo, and wonder with Galileo.

💌 A Slower, Sweeter Kind of Connection

In a world of instant everything, The Great Pen Pal Society is a gentle pause — a chance for children to slow down, savor, and connect with ideas that stretch beyond the screen.

After all, who wouldn’t want a letter from young Leonardo da Vinci?
